Set on 213 hectares of land in the southern zone of Costa Rica, Puente Pico is a conservation community project that conserves over 70% of the forest while creating harmonious living, working and being in a natural setting. Mandala principals founded the project the team is leading all design and development activities.
Kittitian Hill

Kittitian Hill (also called Bellemont Farms) is entirely off grid and located on the West Indies island of St. Kitts, including an entirely edible landscape spread over 400 acres as well as the first "ground up" organic & edible golf course in the world. Kittitian Hill brought in Mandala's principals to lead the development firm and overall Project Management to build and open the hotel and restaurant.
Alegría Village

Located in the Alajuela region of Costa Rica, Alegria Village is a formal horizontal condominium community created as a "transitional" community to allow international and local residents to move into a lifestyle more aligned with nature. As a partner on the project and leading the development efforts, Mandala was responsible for designing the master plan, common areas, farms and infrastructure as well as project managing the creation of the same.

Selina

Our team was contracted to startup and lead the development of Selina Hostels, building the teams and processes to create fun, traveler focused locations throughout Latin America. Selina's model was fast paced and exciting, although the company's early sustainability initiatives were set aside (which drove our departure from the projects).
Casa Chameleon

As a luxury boutique hotel in the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica, Casa Chameleon includes 27 luxury cottages and a restaurant with incredible views over the Catalinas islands. Mandala principals provided project management services and consulting to the operational and design teams during the creation of the property.
Buen Camino

Well known as the most professional mountain bike trails in Costa Rica, Buen Camino is a 111 hectare bike-focused hotel and restaurant. The Mandala team led the design and re-development of the project.

Verde is a small residential community in the Playa Maderas area of Nicaragua. After the Mandala team led master planning and fundraising in early 2018, Nicaragua unfortunately faced political unrest and we sold the project to a local neighbor.

Project Certifications are an excellent path to hold projects accountable to do the good they intend to do, and Mandala can both certify projects and consult on all phases of responsible project development. Development Management

With participations at the General Partnership level of all phases of a project, we guide Founders with strategic entry into foreign markets and project structuring, offering comprehensive development services that balance responsibility, purpose, and financial sustainability - taking ideas into reality.
Project Management

Using a professional, projectized approach through the lens of a tree hugger we ensure that project activities are thoroughly identified and budgeted to allow efficient, streamlined and actionable plans to be realized. We then manage the process through creation and handover, aligning professionalism with sustainability.
Design

We design with an understanding of the energy that moves through places, crafting environments that support both function and flow while ensuring each project is grounded in low-impact and long-term viability. Design services include site layouts / master planning as well as architectural services.
